There are three kinds of children day care allowance available offered by the Indigenous Peoples Commission, Taipei City Government:
1.The Commission offers day care allowance, targeting children aged 0-school age.
2.The Commission has been authorized by Child Welfare Bureau, Ministry of Interior to offer Taipei City indigenous children day care in public or private day care centers allowance, targeting children aged 5, NT2,500 for private day care or NT10,000 for public day care each semester.
3.The Commission has been authorized by Council of Indigenous Peoples, Executive Yuan to offer Taipei City indigenous children day care allowance, targeting children aged 3-school age, NT8,500 for private day care/preschool or NT10,000 for public day care/preschool each semester.
The Indigenous Peoples Commission is in charge of the above affairs. When applying for the day care allowance offered by the Commission, either children or parents who must be permanent resident and has lived in Taipei City for 2 years at least continuously, and monthly family income fails to achieve the 80% of consumption. Others are only required the applicants to be indigenous.
