1.To help high school indigenous students with travel fees, the Indigenous Peoples Commission has hereby announced the essential points.
2.Target audience:
2.1 Current indigenous high school students who have household registered in Taipei City.
2.2 Have not received any other allowance of the same kind. From the government.
2.3 Low-income families are not entitled.
3.Allowance:
3.1 NT500 for junior high school students per person per month.
3.2 NT1,000 for senior high school (vocational) students of the city per person per month.
3.3 NT1,500 for senior high school (vocational) students of other cities per person per month.
4.Procedures and documents required:
4.1 For the city public or private high school students, please prepare the household certificate and apply from the school of yours.
4.2 For the public or private high school students of other cities, please prepare the application form, household certificate, photocopy of student ID card and bank account book, and then apply from the district office.
5.Examination and procedure of issuing allowance:
5.1 The school should exam the student’s indigenous identity and makes a name list (see attachment one), official receipt, and submits to the Commission for allowance.
5.2 The district office should exam the student’s indigenous identity and makes a name list (see attachment two), collects the photocopy of applicant’s bank count book and submits to the Commission for allowance.
6.The applications for indigenous students’ travel allowance must be made by March 31st and September 30th each semester.
